We are seeking a Medical Specialist to join our team at our Plasma Donation Center in Pensacola, FL. As a Medical Specialist, you will be responsible for performing physical examinations and establishing medical histories to determine donor suitability. You will also build rapport with donors to ensure overall customer satisfaction, ensure donor and staff confidentiality, and provide donor education regarding general health and counseling regarding unacceptable test results.

Responsibilities:

* Perform physical examinations and establish medical histories to determine donor suitability
* Build rapport with donors to ensure overall customer satisfaction
* Ensure donor and staff confidentiality
* Provide donor education regarding general health and counseling regarding unacceptable test results
* Evaluate and manage donor injuries and adverse events
* Perform evaluations of any history of illness or medications to ensure continued donor suitability
* Assist in employee training
* Administer employee Hepatitis Vaccine program

Requirements:

* Educated and currently certified/licensed in the state of employment and according to state requirements as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocation Nurse, Paramedic, or EMT
* Current CPR certification required
