Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Clinical Nursing Instructor to join our team as an Adjunct Faculty member. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in a clinical nursing setting, while also contributing to the development and implementation of our nursing program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Mentoring: Deliver high-quality instruction and guidance to students in a clinical nursing setting, ensuring they meet the program's learning objectives and outcomes.
  • Course Preparation: Develop and maintain course materials, including lesson plans, syllabi, and assessments, to ensure a comprehensive and engaging learning experience.
  • Student Support: Provide individualized support and feedback to students, addressing their academic and professional needs, and promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Program Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of our nursing program, including curriculum design, assessment, and evaluation.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve program goals and objectives, and to promote a culture of excellence and innovation.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in Nursing or a related field, with a focus on nursing education.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered nurse, with a strong background in clinical nursing and education.
  • Certifications: Current RN licensure in North Carolina, and certification in nursing education (e.g., CNE, CNE-BC).
