About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Principal Software Engineer to lead our engineering team and technical strategy. This individual will oversee the development and operations of our ticketing platform and internal tools. The ideal candidate has deep expertise across software engineering, DevOps, data engineering, and the Google Cloud ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the technical vision and strategy for Etainement's products and systems
  • Manage and mentor the software engineering team
  • Oversee the architecture, development, testing, and deployment of our web applications and data pipelines
  • Ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of our cloud infrastructure
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to align technology initiatives with company goals
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and innovations
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering leadership roles
  • Strong programming skills and experience building end-to-end web applications
  • Expert-level knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, especially BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Run
  • Proven track record in data warehousing and ETL pipeline development
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams of developers
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or related technical field
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional Google Cloud Certifications (e.g. Professional Cloud Architect)
  • Prior experience in the music or sports industries
  • Familiarity with dynamic pricing and yield management concepts
