Insight Global is actively seeking a Senior Bridge Engineering Specialist. The individual will take the lead in the design phase of various bridge projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant VDOT standards and regulations. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive quality assurance and quality control evaluations of engineering outputs, while maintaining strong communication with clients through meetings and negotiations.

This role requires a proactive mindset, particularly in preparing responses to requests for proposals (RFPs), representing the organization at public forums, and driving project goals to successful completion.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in bridge design
  • Familiarity with VDOT processes
  • Demonstrated experience as a lead design engineer with design-build projects
  • Strong ability to engage and negotiate effectively with clients
