Fifth Third Bank is committed to building long-term relationships with our customers. As a Personal Banker II, you will play a critical role in cultivating and maintaining these relationships through personalized service and tailored solutions.

The Personal Banker II role involves developing a deep understanding of customer needs, preferences, and goals, and using this insight to provide recommendations and solutions that drive results. You will work closely with internal partners to ensure customer needs are met and all problems are resolved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers through proactive outreach efforts
  • Use a consultative approach to identify customer needs and preferences, and tailor recommendations and solutions accordingly
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, services, and processes offered by Fifth Third Bank
  • Collaborate with internal partners to ensure customer needs are met and all problems are resolved
  • Analyze customer credit data and other related financial information to ensure customers are in the appropriate solutions
  • Provide customer support and reinforce the value of current and new technology
  • Follow the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other related policies
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED and 1 year customer service experience, or college degree or equivalent military experience
  • Experience in a sales environment required; experience in financial industry a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to develop comfort level with both new household acquisitions and deepening customer relationships
  • Ability to professionally represent Fifth Third Bank in verbal and written communication
  • Capable of analyzing credit and financial information
  • Exhibits business acumen
  • Demonstrated ability in making sound decisions
  • This position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS)

Working Conditions:

  • Normal office environment
  • Extended viewing of computer screens
  • Periodic travel within the Bancorp footprint to attend meetings and/or training
