Casa Real Center in Santa Fe, NM is seeking an experienced Interim Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the administration of nursing services in our long-term care facility.
Key Responsibilities- Direct, plan, and coordinate service activities of professional nursing and auxiliary nursing personnel in rendering patient care.
- Collaborate with the Nursing Home Administrator to develop, allocate, and control the budget for the Department of Nursing Services.
- Complete daily rounds on the units to observe patients and determine if nursing needs are being met.
- Review nursing progress notes to ensure they are informative and descriptive of the nursing care provided.
- Interpret nursing center policies and regulations to all nursing personnel and ensure compliance.
- Ensure the provision of in-service training programs for nursing personnel.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college, or university with a current registered nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
- A minimum of five years full-time or equivalent clinical experience with at least two years' experience in nursing supervision in the long-term care setting is required.
- Competitive salary range: $120K - $125K/year
