About the Role

Xylem, a leading global water technology company, is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join its Advanced Technology and Innovation Team. As a key member of this high-performing team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative optical sensors for water quality monitoring.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop analog and digital embedded electronic circuits to meet performance, cost, and project schedule objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop small integrated designs with maximum performance.
  • Conduct laboratory experiments to test novel ideas and develop prototypes.
  • Specify and source prototype components, assist with prototype assembly, and debug prototype assemblies.
  • Enter schematics into CAD systems and support PCB design efforts.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors for key components.
  • Document design concepts, testing, and analysis for electronic circuits developed.
  • Assist in identifying and initiating technical projects/programs that will lead to product innovation and/or improvements.
Requirements
  • BS in Electrical Engineering, MS preferred.
  • Minimum 2+ years electrical engineering experience.
  • Experience in analog circuit design, low power system design, and digital signal processing.
  • Competency in embedded programming in C and knowledge of electronic CAD software tools.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with local and international team members.
