Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Hospice team. As a Hospice RN, you will work with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals during the final stages of patients' lives. Our nurses work in private homes, residential care facilities, nursing centers, and other hospice care environments.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and other treatments as needed.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Supervise licensed vocational/practical nurses and nursing aides as needed.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and industry developments.
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing and licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
- Valid state driver's license, automobile liability insurance, and dependable transportation.
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience, preferably in home health or hospice care.
