Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cosmetologist to join our team at North Florida Retirement Village. As a Cosmetologist, you will provide high-quality beauty services to our residents, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide hairstyling services, including cuts, washes, styles, colors, and permanent waves
  • Offer basic manicure services, including polishing and nail clipping
  • Perform tweezing and waxing of facial hair
  • Maintain clean and sanitized workstations and tools
  • Schedule resident appointments and document services provided
  • Assist residents with transfers and ambulation, or request assistance from nursing staff when necessary
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Attend departmental education and required in-service training/education
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident/family and facility information
  • Respond to fire alarms and assist in evacuations when needed
  • Represent the organization through professional demeanor and attitude
  • Provide quality customer service in all interactions
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Current, valid cosmetology license
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a hairstylist in a salon environment
  • Experience working with seniors preferred
