Job Summary

The University of Kansas Health System seeks a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing x-ray procedures to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. You will work closely with our medical team to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate x-ray equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Participate in the training of student technologists to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting a culture of safety, respect, and open communication.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in radiologic technology preferred.
  • Current licensure as a radiologic technologist in the state of Kansas required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in radiologic technology.
  • Additional language skills a plus.
