The Opportunity

At Five Star Senior Living, we're dedicated to enriching and inspiring the lives of our residents. As a Medication Aide, you'll play a vital role in supporting our community's residents with daily tasks and medication administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver routine daily medications to residents, ensuring accurate dosages and times
  • Monitor residents, documenting changes in their condition and gathering samples for analysis
  • Ensure equipment is routinely inspected and cleaned, upholding all health and safety standards
  • Coordinate with nurses to assist with resident care and medications, following federal, state, and agency regulations
  • Provide exceptional customer service, administering medication, and caregiving to our residents
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a state-approved Medication Aide course and approval to assist with or administer oral and external medications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 18 years old or the age required by state regulations
  • Strong emotional intelligence, listening skills, and dedication to the medical field, especially working with residents
  • Pass State and company background checks and drug test
