Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our ambulatory care team. As a Medical Assistant, you'll play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and administrative support in various clinical settings. Your responsibilities will include assisting healthcare providers with patient care, handling clerical and environmental tasks, and maintaining a working knowledge of regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

* Assist healthcare providers with patient care and administrative tasks
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
* Perform vital signs, electrocardiograms, and other clinical procedures
* Provide excellent customer service and communication skills
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements

* High School Diploma or Equivalent required
* Minimum one year of recent experience working in a medical facility as a Medical Assistant
* Electrocardiogram (EKG), vital signs, venipuncture, capillary, and injection experience
* Epic experience preferred
* Excellent organizational, written/verbal communication, and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Graduate of a post-secondary medical assisting education program accredited by NJAC
* Current certification from a recognized certifying board approved by NJ Board of Medical Examiners
* Current BLS/CPR certification through the American Heart Association
