About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and committed Evening Counselor to join our multidisciplinary treatment team at Foundations for Living. As a key member of our team, you will provide on-going assessments, treatment planning, progress reviews, continuing care planning, and individual/group counseling sessions involving recovery education.

Responsibilities
  • Provide client-centered care within established statutes and standards
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual client needs
  • Conduct ongoing assessments and progress reviews to ensure effective treatment
  • Lead individual and group counseling sessions focusing on recovery education
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements
  • Active, unrestricted LADC license awarded by the MN BBHT
  • 1-2 years' experience in the chemical dependency field
  • 12 contact hours of co-occurring disorders training
  • Insight into the unique challenges faced by LGBTQ+ clients
  • Ability to pass/clear the MN DHS Background Study
