Job Summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a highly skilled TEMPEST Engineer / Principal TEMPEST Engineer to join our Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) division Engineering and Manufacturing team. This role will be based in Huntsville, AL or Roy, UT and will provide enabling support for all business areas within the SDS portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct TEMPEST testing and analysis in accordance with NSTISSAM TEMPEST/1-92 and CNSSAM TEMPEST 01-02
  • Support the program's TEMPEST SME in frequent customer interactions and assist in the development of the TEMPEST Control Plan
  • Develop TEMPEST test plans and test procedures, review TEMPEST testing results, and provide consultation on TEMPEST best practices with various Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
  • Collaborate with a team of engineers to make significant contributions to TEMPEST testing and analysis
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or Software discipline from an accredited university
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience for the Engineer Systems level or 5 years of related experience for the Principal Engineer Systems level
  • General understanding of TEMPEST specs, including NSTISSAM TEMPEST 1/92, CNSSAM TEMPEST 1-13, CNSSAM TEMPEST 01-02, AMSG 720B, AMSG 788A, and AMSG 784
  • Ability to obtain special program access and a US DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years
