Nurse Specialist

Job Summary:
Covenant Health (Tennessee) is seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical Unit team. As a Clin Nurse II, you will provide professional nursing care to patients, coordinate care planning with other disciplines, and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Correlate patient history and support systems within hospital care/nursing home care.
- Assess learning needs of patient and family.
- Develop and initiate plan of care, involving patient and family.
- Recommends interventions.
- Evaluates plan of care.
- Resolves problems regarding moderately complex issues without oversight or supervision.
- Demonstrates active participation in unit or facility activities.
- Demonstrates willingness to precept employees/students as directed.
- Supervises LPNs, Nursing Assistants, HUCs, Techs, and sitters.
- Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Completes required education assignments annually.
- Works toward achieving goals and objectives, and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested.
Requirements:
- Valid Tennessee RN license.
- CPR required.
