**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly motivated Bilingual Case Coordinator to join our team at the Center for Alternative. This role will involve providing supervision and community-based services to pretrial participants, with a focus on supporting their successful completion of mandated supervision appointments and court appearances.

Salary: $56,000 per year, based in Brooklyn with occasional fieldwork throughout the NYC area.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide regular check-ins and support to a caseload of pretrial participants, helping them understand and comply with supervision conditions.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments to identify service needs and develop tailored service plans aimed at reducing recidivism and enhancing participation in community treatment programs.
  • Collaborate with community providers to link participants to necessary resources, including mental health services, addiction treatment, and employment opportunities.
  • Facilitate communication between participants, courts, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless transitions and effective case management.
  • Maintain accurate records and data to inform program development and evaluation.

Requirements:

What We're Looking For
  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years' experience working in human services, preferably with individuals affected by substance use disorders and the criminal justice system.
  • Fluent Spanish/English language skills.
  • Strong problem-solving techniques, motivational interviewing, and case management approach skills.
  • Knowledge of the criminal justice system, court processes, and alternative to detention/incarceration services.
