Job Summary

Tooele County is seeking a highly skilled Public Safety Dispatcher to join our team in the Tooele County Sheriff's Department.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong ability to multitask.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer 911 and non-emergency calls from within Tooele County
  • Dispatch emergency responders to incidents
  • Provide critical information to emergency responders
  • Work effectively in a team environment

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to type 30 words per minute with high accuracy
  • Pass a Dispatcher/Call-taker pre-employment multi-tasking test
