Exercise Physiologist

**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Exercise Physiologist to join our team at Community Health Systems. As an Exercise Physiologist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating exercise programs for patients. You will assess cardiovascular and metabolic effects of exercise for cardiac and musculoskeletal rehabilitation, create educational materials and sessions for patients, and rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

**Responsibilities**

Develop and implement exercise programs for patients with cardiac and musculoskeletal conditions

Assess cardiovascular and metabolic effects of exercise on patients

Create educational materials and sessions for patients on exercise and rehabilitation

Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

May lead and direct the work of others

**Requirements**

Master's degree in Exercise Physiology or related field

Certification as an Exercise Technologist

2-4 years of experience in the field or related area

Familiarity with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures in the field
