About the Role

CBRE is seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team in Atlanta. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in providing sophisticated financial analysis and modeling to clients. Your strong foundational knowledge of financial concepts, passion for real estate, and ability to work well in a dynamic team environment will make you an ideal candidate for this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide financial analysis and modeling to clients, including cash flow projections and pricing of various leasehold and/or ownership interests.
  • Create financial models using decision-making metrics to assist clients in making real estate occupancy decisions.
  • Analyze and interpret real estate source documents, including operating statements, rent rolls, leases, and other due diligence material.
  • Compile and present the results of analyses and effectively address questions.

Requirements

  • Sophisticated communication skills for all levels of employees, brokers, clients, and management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, or Economics with high academic achievement.
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts, including Discounted Cash Flow, IRR, NPV, etc.
  • Intermediate-level Excel skills and ability to build and understand financial models.
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills in combination with outstanding communication skills.
  • Self-starter with sharp focus on details and awareness of the bigger picture.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure of multiple deadlines.
  • Intellectual curiosity with demonstrated enthusiasm for the commercial real estate industry.
  • A sense of personal accountability and urgency for achieving results in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and with all levels of personnel.
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
  • Real estate license required within six months of employment.
