Production Operative

DS Smith is seeking a highly motivated and safety-conscious Production Operative to join our Packaging division team. As a key member of our production team, you will play a vital role in achieving our business goals by ensuring the safe and efficient operation of machinery, maximizing productivity, and minimizing downtime.

About the Role

As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for:

  • Operating machinery in a safe and efficient manner
  • Ensuring consistent quality standards are met
  • Maximizing productivity and minimizing downtime
  • Supporting improvement initiatives and contributing to a positive and safe working environment
About You

We are looking for a self-motivated and positive individual with good communication skills, both verbal and written. You will be a team player with a quality-conscious approach and a positive attitude towards multi-skilled working. If you have experience working in a production/machine operating environment, an understanding of paper and packaging processes, and good mechanical aptitude, you will be well-suited for this role.
