**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Specialist III/ Venue Lead to join our team at Fort Belvoir. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with audio/video staff and support services to ensure smooth and efficient event space management. This role will support event management and execution, overseeing the configuration, coordination, and operational effectiveness of event spaces.

**Key Responsibilities**

As an Operations Specialist III/ Venue Lead, you will be responsible for the following key tasks:

  • Coordinating with external staff, agencies, and contractors to ensure all necessary venue support is secured and executed.
  • Managing the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring they are restored to their default configurations post-event.
  • Performing all activities necessary to maintain daily operations of the program/product offices.
  • Managing facilities to include space, furniture, and office supplies.
  • Providing daily supervision, direction, and guidance to event support staff throughout the event planning and execution process.
  • Receiving, distributing, tracking, and reporting on formal event tasks using the SharePoint.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • At least 5 years of experience in event management, operations administration, or audio-visual support services, preferably in a government or large-scale organizational setting.
  • A BBA or relevant field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products including MS Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.

**Estimated Salary**

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
