Job Summary:

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at L3 Technologies, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quality processes and procedures using statistical quality control statistics and analyses. You will collaborate with internal and external customers to ensure quality standards are in place and being properly executed. You will determine root cause for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications and implement effective corrective action as needed. You will also write inspection procedures and assist in reviewing and evaluating in-process rejections and obtaining proper product dispositions. Additionally, you will analyze quality performance for factory and collaborate with Operations Engineers to develop improvement plans for identified problem areas. You will serve as primary customer Quality interface which may include having to conduct customer business briefings.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality processes and procedures using statistical quality control statistics and analyses

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Management, Quality Sciences or related field


Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of Six Sigma, LEAN, and/or simulation tools like Arena, CAD, and/or AutoCAD
