At SUNY Upstate Medical University, we are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Psychiatry Specialist to join our team. As a full-time Advanced Practice Provider, you will provide expert-level care to patients requiring Inpatient Psychiatric Services on our Child & Adolescent Hospital Psychiatry Services (Child Consult Liaison (CCL) team, Pediatric Emergency Department (ED), and the Child & Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatry units.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated healthcare professional to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our young patients and their families. You will be responsible for observing and evaluating patients, ordering laboratory testing and diagnostic studies, arranging for referrals, testing, consultation, and therapeutic services. Your outstanding communication skills will enable you to develop effective partnerships with providers, staff, and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.

To be successful in this role, you must have a Master's Degree, NYS licensed/registered Psychiatric NP certification, DEA number, medical malpractice insurance, and Medicare enrollment. National Certification through AANP or ANCC is also required prior to hire. Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is essential.

A competitive salary of $92,000 - $147,004 is offered, along with a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, employer 401k funding, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, and holidays.
