Position Overview

The Vice President, Client Lead will spearhead a dynamic team of leaders, working in tandem with cross-functional collaborators to devise innovative strategies and cultivate lasting client partnerships. The VP, Client Lead will report directly to the Managing Director of our Retail division and engage closely with designated clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage essential accounts, serving as a trusted consultant who facilitates problem-solving dialogues and aligns our extensive array of solutions.
  • Illustrate Thegradcafe's value by designing creative solutions that fulfill client requirements and align with our corporate goals.
  • Lead significant client discussions, promoting collaboration with internal stakeholders and relevant teams.
  • Establish trustworthy, productive relationships with key stakeholders across various domains, driving value for our clients.
  • Guide the formulation of cross-functional objectives (data, technology, and media) in line with the company’s vision and principles.
  • Regularly monitor progress towards sales targets.
  • Champion the creation of essential value propositions for clients, ensuring that product solutions correspond with their business aims.
  • Act as a conduit between clients and product development teams.
  • Oversee and mentor a team of Directors and Senior Directors.
  • Inspire the team by setting clear expectations, outlining career trajectories, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining high performance standards.
  • Encourage a collaborative atmosphere where the team can excel and formulate key account strategies.
  • Collaborate with other leaders to address business challenges, pinpoint growth prospects, and enhance organizational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing large enterprise accounts.
  • 6-8 years of experience in developing, nurturing, and managing client relationships, with a strong record of driving revenue growth.
  • 2-3 years of direct team leadership experience, showcasing strong collaboration and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to connect technology with tangible business results.
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and fostering the growth of others.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience in programmatic or ad tech sales.
  • Industry knowledge in relevant sectors (retail, dining, finance, healthcare, automotive, technology).
