We are seeking an exceptional leader to fill the role of Chief Automation Officer/Director of Platform Solutions. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of our platform automation and developer experience practice.

As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance the developer experience across our organization. This includes infrastructure services that enable developers to work efficiently from anywhere.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in modern software platforms, architecture, and development methodologies. You will lead a diverse team of peers in creating a common solution framework and ensure seamless collaboration with multiple development, infrastructure, security, and operational teams.

Your primary objectives will include:

  • Leveraging technical skills to build a high-performing team dedicated to improving the developer experience through automation of technology and compute platform components.
  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy to refine development workflows, automate provisioning of lower environments, and promote reuse.
  • Collaborating with Development teams to create a shared, self-service library of platform components and repeatable CI/CD pipelines or pipeline classes.
  • Partnering with Security and Infrastructure teams to create tailored lower environments that improve the developer experience while maintaining intellectual property security.
  • Championing complete build and production support automation and promoting a culture of automation at Platform layers.

You will report directly to the VP, IT Infrastructure and Operations.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, MIS, Computer Science, or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
  • A minimum of 12 years of relevant leadership experience within IT, preferably in systems or platform development teams.
  • Experience leading DevSecOps teams, supporting CI/CD pipeline, and working with software delivery organizations to achieve operational excellence and adaptability.
  • Solid skills in Technical Roadmapping, Agile/SAFe principles, and continuous delivery practices.
  • Extraordinary internal customer focus, with a proven track record of improving developer experience.

We offer a competitive salary range of $180,000 - $250,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, parental leave, and flexible work arrangements.
