About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Adventist Health. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated portions of the body as ordered by physicians.
  • Position and instruct patients prior to examination, adjust the x-ray equipment, and determine proper voltage, current, and desired exposure time for each radiograph.
  • Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation, explain procedures to patients, and answer questions.
  • Prepare equipment for use as needed, prepare examination rooms for patient exams, and position patients for imaging exams.
  • Monitor patients and ensure safety during exams, produce diagnostic images, document exam information, and report important information to the physician.
  • Verify exams on PACS and perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in radiological technology (preferred).
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography (ARRT-R) certification (required).
  • Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License (required).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS certification (required).
  • Fluoroscopy license in the state of employment (preferred).
