Position SummaryThis is a Full-Time role requiring 40 hours per week, with responsibilities spanning multiple locations. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. The individual in this position will lead the front desk personnel across our designated sites and manage daily operational inquiries, financial transactions, staff scheduling, and on-call physician arrangements.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate the operational activities of the practice in collaboration with the practice administrator and/or medical director.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, coaching, and scheduling of team members.
- Assist in the formulation and execution of operational policies and procedures.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of patient needs and ensure the efficient delivery of care, including resolving issues as they arise.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of coding systems and health insurance billing processes, serving as a vital component of the practice leadership.
Required:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical office setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred:
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience or equivalent background.
- An Associate's degree in a business or healthcare-related discipline.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Exceptional interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to identify situations that necessitate interpreter services and utilize them effectively.
- Comprehensive understanding of various insurance programs, including Medicare and Medicaid.
- Familiarity with ICD-9 and CPT coding practices.
- Experience with practice management systems and data entry tasks.
