Clinical Nurse Specialist

Position Overview
As a dedicated nursing professional, you will play a vital role in the Neurology Department. Your expertise will be essential in coordinating nursing activities and resources within this specialized clinical area.
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee nursing programs, providing guidance and support to nursing staff regarding patient care and clinical standards.
- Formulate and document comprehensive care plans and therapy programs tailored to patient needs.
- Ensure the implementation of care plans and therapy programs as prescribed.
- Facilitate the procurement of necessary resources and equipment as required.
- May supervise nursing personnel and maintain essential documentation as needed.
Qualifications
Licensure and Certification:
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required prior to employment.
- Registered Nurse license from the Maryland Board of Nursing required prior to employment.
- Advanced Life Support certification from the AHA is preferred.
Educational Background:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program or possession of the required professional licensure at the time of hire.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in Stroke or Emergency Department settings is preferred.
