- Apply evidence-based practice, access resources, and follow unit-based protocols and documentation guidelines.
- Involve patients and families in care, following model of care delivery guidelines.
- Conduct patient and family needs assessments, initiate and document education, and seek guidance when necessary.
- Deliver care consistent with unit operations, ensuring safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and patient-centered care.
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland or eligibility to practice due to Compact state agreements is required.
- Current AHA BLS certification is required.
- Basic computer skills are necessary.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential.
