Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Production Manager in maintaining production levels and adhering to strict safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Supervise employees, provide training and development opportunities, and ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, such as Quality Control, Research and Development, and Shipping and Receiving, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Monitor and report any issues or concerns, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Collaborate with maintenance personnel to address equipment needs and optimize production scheduling.
  • Develop and implement process improvements, and provide suggestions for lean processing and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a positive work attitude, safety mindset, and quality focus.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with supervisory experience.
  • Able to operate a forklift and possess good communication, math, and reading skills.
  • Responsible, safety-minded, quality-focused, management-supportive, and company-oriented individual.
