As a Housekeeping Room Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality, providing exceptional service to our guests, and working collaboratively with our housekeeping team to achieve our goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Obtain room assignments from your supervisor at the beginning of your shift
  • Check your cart to ensure it is correctly stocked
  • Know the correct procedure for entering a guest room
  • Follow a set pattern of steps for daily cleaning of occupied and check-out rooms to ensure nothing is missed
  • Check rooms for damages, furniture, and equipment
  • Report all damage and missing items to your supervisor immediately
  • Return any items found in guest rooms, lobby, corridors, or in the back of the house to the Lost and Found with the date, location, and finder's name
  • Perform a final inspection of the room before leaving
  • Notify housekeeping that the room is clean and whether it is occupied or vacant
  • Restock your cart, remove any trash and dirty linen, at the end of your shift
  • Respond to guest questions and provide assistance, directions, and information as requested
  • Report any suspicious persons or activities, hazardous conditions, etc., to the Safety/Security Department
  • Provide instruction and/or guidance for guest and employee safety in fire or other emergency situations
  • Perform other duties as requested by your supervisor

Requirements:

  • Service orientation and knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to convey information and ideas
  • Ability to read and understand directions on cleaning chemicals
  • Ability to use chemicals and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
