Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Assistant to join our team at Beatrice Community Hospital & Health Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing and coordinating venipuncture and related phlebotomy procedures, providing clerical support to the department, and performing billing and coding functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform venipuncture and related phlebotomy procedures
  • Provide clerical support to the department
  • Perform billing and coding functions
  • Clean and prepare glassware and other lab equipment
  • Store glassware and other lab equipment in a clean and organized manner

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Additional training or education preferred
  • Phlebotomy training or certification preferred
  • 1 year experience in a laboratory environment preferred
