Nutrition Specialist

Sun River Health is seeking a skilled Nutritionist to join our team at our Spring Valley location. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide expert nutrition counseling to patients referred by clinicians, developing and implementing personalized care plans to promote optimal health and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct initial nutrition assessments and develop comprehensive care plans for patients with diverse nutritional needs
- Provide personalized nutrition counseling and education to patients, including those with diabetes and other chronic conditions
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination and referrals to community resources as needed
- Stay up-to-date with the latest nutrition research and best practices, applying this knowledge to inform your work and improve patient outcomes
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field; Master's degree preferred
- RD/RDN and CDN certification with valid CPR card
- 2-4 years of experience in nutrition counseling or a related field; 5-8 years preferred
