About the Role

Smithfield Foods is seeking a highly skilled Treasury Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting various financial activities, including financial reporting, analysis, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with domestic and international teams to prepare periodic departmental reporting for internal and external use.
  • Prepare various financial analyses and modeling, including cash flow and interest expense forecasts, capital structure initiatives, and key credit metric analysis.
  • Provide support for financing activities, including bond issuance, bank loans, and leasing.
  • Monitor currency exposures and assist with risk management strategies and hedge execution.
  • Assist in preparation of presentation materials for lenders, bondholders, rating agencies, and internal constituents.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Resourceful and able to juggle priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • High degree of accuracy, detail orientation, and organizational skills.
