Job Description:

Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Specialist

The GSOC Specialist is responsible for providing support in Security/Fire/Life Safety Alarm Monitoring; Global Threat Management, Video Monitoring, Incident Management, Travel Safety and Security and dispatching of Fidelity regional security or Public Safety personnel to corporate locations.

This role will be based in Smithfield, RI or Merrimack, NH.

The Value You Deliver

  • Dispatching and coordinating response to incidents that occur on company premises, or at corporate events, using appropriate communication methods. Responses may be to medical emergencies, burglar, fire, or duress alarms. Operators may be required to liaison with law enforcement, fire, or other public safety organizations related to emergencies at or near company property.
  • Review, analyze and escalate open-source and subscription-based intelligence to help mitigate and report global threats to company property, employees, and stakeholders.
  • Document, assess, and escalate instances of possible threats in the workplace.
  • The GSOC Specialist will support the travel security program through monitoring of associate travel and be prepared to account for them during events of concern or elevated risk.
  • Reporting out of the ordinary or abnormal conditions to the company s security personnel, management, employees, suppliers, and facilities organization.
  • Partnering with internal security, facilities & real estate, enterprise resiliency and business continuity teams during business impacting incidents or events.
  • Receiving, evaluating, and disseminating incoming information and reports from company security personnel, security officers in the field, and company employees, suppliers, reporting parties, and local agencies.
  • Develop concise, fact-based incident reports for distribution to various Fidelity stakeholders.
  • Assisting in the coordination of service requests for afterhours access to Fidelity offices.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 3+ years of full-time experience in a security function, preferably in an operations or control center setting.
  • Bachelor s Degree preferred.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Alarm Monitoring, Access Control, Video Management, and Crisis Communication technology.
  • Ability to work in a flexible scheduling environment (rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays).
  • Experience collecting, analyzing, and disseminating open source or subscription-based intelligence is preferred.
  • Providing excellent customer service in a high call volume setting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced organization; coordinate and manage multiple tasks with limited supervision
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • This role will be based in Smithfield, RI or Merrimack, NH.
