Position Overview

As a Parking Operations Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to manage vehicle flow and ensure a secure and tidy atmosphere for all visitors and staff within the parking facilities. This role typically offers between 4-11 hours of work during scheduled events, which are usually held on evenings and weekends, with occasional daytime events.

This position offers an hourly compensation of $15.

For part-time roles: Benefits include a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcoming guests as they arrive at the venue
  • Verifying prepaid parking passes
  • Informing guests of the current parking fees
  • Collecting parking charges and managing change returns when necessary
  • Guiding guests to appropriate parking areas
  • Educating guests on current regulations and procedures regarding tailgating, permissible items within the venue, and exit routes
  • Controlling the traffic flow entering, exiting, and within the venue's parking zones
  • Ensuring a safe and clean environment by alerting the appropriate personnel to address various situations
  • Removing traffic cones and signage once parking areas have cleared

Qualifications
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the venue layout, especially the parking zones and exits
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Ability to stand for the duration of a scheduled shift (minimum of 4 hours)
  • Capability to bend or twist at the waist to reach and move items at ground level (typically traffic cones or parking signs)
  • Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, humidity, high winds, snow, or rain)
  • Availability to work scheduled events as required (including nights and weekends)
