We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Substation Protection & Control Engineer to join our team at Leidos. As a key member of our Power Delivery Services team, you will be responsible for designing substation protection and control projects for electric utilities at voltages from 12kV up to 500kV.
Key Responsibilities:- Design substation protection and control projects for electric utilities
- Develop and implement digital logic design, AC and DC circuits
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to meet project needs
- Meet deadlines under pressure situations
- Work effectively in a team environment and independently with minimal direction
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field
- Four (4+) or more years of substation protection control design and/or field testing/commissioning experience
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with internal teams and clients
- Ability to read and design substation protection and control drawings
- Ability to meet deadlines under pressure situations
