Job Title: Mechanical Superintendent CTRail

Alstom is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Superintendent to lead the maintenance and rehabilitation of our rail rolling stock fleet. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our trains, as well as overseeing the maintenance of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance personnel to ensure the safe and efficient operation of rail rolling stock
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
  • Oversee the maintenance of rail rolling stock, including locomotives, cab cars, and coach cars
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Transportation or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in rail rolling stock maintenance and operations
  • Proven track record of leadership and management experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
