We collaborate closely with architects, urban designers, and interior designers to deliver comprehensive branding solutions for diverse projects, ranging from small retail spaces to large-scale citywide signage systems.
As an integral member of our design team, you will contribute your expertise to a wide range of responsibilities:
- Develop and produce compelling presentation materials for architecture and interior design projects, including signage, presentations, and interior graphic elements.
- Lead projects from initial concept through implementation, ensuring seamless execution and client satisfaction.
- Create detailed sign location plans and message schedules, incorporating best practices for wayfinding and user experience.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Generate precise drawings of signage, wayfinding, and thematic EGD elements in 2D and 3D, utilizing relevant consultant documents and architectural drawings.
- Review and approve shop drawings and material finishes, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct thorough research to support the project team's needs and contribute to informed design decisions.
- Collaborate effectively with internal design teams to provide comprehensive design and technical support.
- Lead art direction and graphic design tasks, ensuring a cohesive and visually appealing brand identity across all projects.
- Support the branding studio's efforts as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- 7+ years of proven experience in Environmental Graphic Design.
- Proficiency in drawing to scale and understanding architectural drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details.
- Working knowledge of materials, finishes, the EGD fabrication process, and ADA standard compliance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of how to implement complex wayfinding strategies effectively.
- Ability to manage time deadlines and budgetary constraints efficiently.
