Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist & Assistant Shift Lead to join our dynamic team. This role requires a servant leader with excellent attention to detail and inventory control expertise. As the primary point of contact for daily operations, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless warehouse processes, safety protocols, and exceptional customer service.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and correct cycle count discrepancies
  • Locate and rectify misplaced inventory
  • Process transactions for product returns from customers
  • Review transactions for products undergoing rework
  • Resolve issues with pallets staged in the 'Problem Pallet Area'
  • Conduct supplementary cycle counts as needed
  • Assist in collecting samples for quality evaluation
Additional Responsibilities (Secondary Role):
  • Lead the Warehouse 2nd Shift Team with a servant leadership style
  • Maintain adherence to corporate values: Thankfulness, Honesty, Kindness, Diligence, and Unity
  • Supervise, counsel, motivate, evaluate, train, and ensure safety requirements are met
  • Coordinate task assignments for efficient warehouse operations
  • Communicate effectively to align work with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), goals, and improvement initiatives
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by meeting shipping commitments
  • Promote continuous improvement through recommendations to the Warehouse Manager
  • Maintain effective communication with departments: Safety, Quality, Maintenance, Customer Service, Human Resources, Logistics, and Procurement functions
  • Ensure adherence to company rules, policies, including GMP's, USDA, FDA, BRC, and OSHA regulations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' supervisory or management experience
  • Warehouse or distribution center experience preferred
  • Inventory control proficiency
  • Excellent math skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Decision-making and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to write, speak, read, and communicate clearly in English; Spanish proficiency a plus
  • Eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship
Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary up to $24.67 per hour and benefits that include a 20-minute paid lunch break. Working days may vary based on season and company needs, with occasional Saturdays and 10-12 hour shifts during peak periods.
