Warehouse Inventory Management and Leadership Professional

Furmano Foods, a renowned family-owned manufacturer, seeks a highly skilled Inventory Control Specialist & Assistant Shift Lead to lead their Warehouse 2nd Shift Team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine inventory management expertise with leadership skills to drive business success.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing daily cycle counting, reconciliation, and transactions while providing operational supervision as needed. The successful candidate will also lead the Warehouse 2nd Shift Team with a servant leadership style, embodying Furmano Foods' corporate values.
Main Responsibilities:Inventory Control:- Investigate and correct cycle count losses to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Locate misplaced inventory and implement strategies to prevent future occurrences.
- Process transactions for product returned by customers efficiently and accurately.
- Review transactions for product moving through rework processes to minimize waste and optimize productivity.
- Monitor pallets staged in the 'Problem Pallet Area' for resolution and take corrective action as necessary.
- Lead the Warehouse 2nd Shift Team with a servant leadership style.
- Supervise, counsel, motivate, evaluate, provide training, and ensure safety requirements are followed.
- Coordinate task assignment to ensure Warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Understand Key Performance Indicators and educate team members on them to drive performance improvement.
- Communicate effectively to ensure alignment of work with KPI's, goals, and improvement initiatives.
- Minimum of 2 years of Supervisory/Management experience.
- Warehouse/Distribution Center experience preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to write, speak, read, and communicate clearly in English.
- Ability to operate a forklift and pass a company certification test for Forklift operation.
$24.67 per hour, based on the required skills and qualifications.
