We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at Ascension Wisconsin. As a critical care nurse, you will provide direct patient care, implement and monitor patient care plans, and coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit, adhering to established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring effective and efficient care delivery.
- Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure well-coordinated patient care, including communication with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, ensuring a smooth transition to post-acute care.
- Monitor and record patient condition, communicating relevant information to the healthcare team as needed.
- Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire date.
- BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
- Registered Nurse licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or current home state license (for multi-state/Compact State).
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
