Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at Elmbrook Memorial Hospital in Brookfield, WI. As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will provide direct patient care, implement and monitor patient care plans, and serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction and outcomes.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care.
  • Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, prioritizing patient needs and safety.
  • Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team, ensuring a smooth transition to post-acute care.
Requirements
  • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Preferred Qualifications

We are seeking an RN with strong adult ICU experience for general ICU, both medical and surgical patients. Minimum experience 2 years ICU.
