Responsibilities- Conduct newborn hearing screens in a hospital setting, utilizing video and printed tools to educate parents on the importance of the screen.
- Enter patient data and validate hearing screen results, ensuring accuracy and compliance with hospital and company protocols.
- Assist with confirming or rescheduling outpatient appointments, as needed, and follow up on equipment issues to ensure seamless operations.
- Document hearing screen results accurately and submit billing in a timely manner, adhering to established protocols.
- Follow infection control, safety awareness, and other hospital, company, and program policies to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
- Recognize potential problems and obtain assistance when necessary, in a timely manner, to ensure the highest level of patient care.
- Experience working with infants, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with parents, healthcare professionals, and other team members.
- Computer proficiency and ability to perform accurate data entry, with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize daily tasks and assignments, working both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays, with the ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds frequently and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
