This position is responsible for providing mental health evaluation and therapeutic intervention to patients. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a Psychologist, Mental Health Manager, and/or Program Director to contribute to the success of the Texas Child Mental Health Care Consortium.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provides individual psychotherapy to children and adolescents referred through the TCHATT program in the Department of Psychiatry.
• Develops, implements, and reviews Individual Treatment Plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
• Assists with training and education of mental health clinician trainees to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Collaborates with patient, patient families, on-site departments, and community agencies to coordinate current treatment and/or facilitate aftercare services.
• Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure to maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity.
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work.
• Current licensure as a Professional Counselor, Psychological Associate, or Clinical Social Worker with five (5) years experience as a LPA, LPC, or LCSW.
