About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Pegasus Residential. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties and providing exceptional service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general and higher-level maintenance services, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repairs, HVAC, and more.
  • Lead a team of 7 maintenance professionals and provide guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Respond promptly to resident service requests and provide timely resolutions.
  • Be available to work on an on-call basis, including weekends and nights, with an on-call bonus.
  • Participate in preventative maintenance activities, including pool, exterior lighting, filter changes, and apartment inspections.
  • Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment, and care for and inventory all supplies and equipment.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5-10 years of maintenance experience in the multifamily industry.
  • 2-4 years of supervisory experience.
  • Understanding of vertical buildings (towers) and their systems, including elevators, boiler rooms, chillers, general plumbing, and electric.
  • Excellent executive presence and ability to converse with owners if they are onsite.
  • General understanding of building engineering.
  • Refrigeration certification, EPA, CPO, preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
  • CPO certification (if required in the state and location applied).
  • Knowledge of OneSite preferred.
What You'll Do
  • Use various hand tools and test equipment.
  • Bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods.
  • Push and pull up to 300 pounds on wheels.
  • Lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Climb ladders of up to 40 feet in height.
  • Use a hand-truck.
  • Make ordinary apartment homes spectacular.
