Baylor Scott & White Health is actively seeking an Acute Care Hospitalist to enhance our medical team.

The Hillcrest hospital is dedicated to serving the Waco and surrounding Central Texas regions, featuring 260 general acute care hospital beds, the only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in the vicinity, a Level III maternal care center, and the primary trauma facility for a five-county area. Our facility has received Magnet recognition and is the sole CARF-certified inpatient rehabilitation center in Waco.

Our extensive network of 30 clinics caters to Waco and its neighboring Central Texas communities. With a diverse team of physicians, advanced practice professionals, and healthcare providers, we deliver a comprehensive range of medical services from primary care to specialized clinics, including sports medicine, orthopedics, sleep medicine, and senior health. Baylor Scott & White Health is also the official healthcare provider for Baylor University Athletics.

Qualifications:

  • Doctorate Degree in Medicine
  • Licensed to Practice Medicine in Texas by the Texas Medical Board
  • Where applicable, the candidate should be currently board certified in their specialty or actively pursuing board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists.
