Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales teams to deliver comprehensive pre- and post-sales assistance, including discovery sessions, site evaluations, proposal development, presentations, technical assessments, implementation, and ongoing account management.
  • Administer and configure Windows Servers and Active Directory.
  • Design and implement Local Area Networks.
  • Establish and oversee network security protocols.
  • Enhance and maintain both network software and hardware.
  • Develop and deploy file servers and cloud-based solutions.
  • Set up and manage VOIP systems.
  • Conduct troubleshooting for network infrastructure issues.
  • Oversee Microsoft Exchange Server operations.
  • Implement telephone solutions.
  • Monitor alert systems and respond appropriately as per established guidelines.
  • Utilize event log messages to facilitate repairs.
  • Handle escalated service requests requiring advanced response strategies.
  • Facilitate onboarding processes for new users.

Qualifications & Skills

  • A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing networking equipment, Windows servers, workstations, Exchange servers, and Active Directory.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a client-facing role, such as sales engineering.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients to comprehend their historical and current business and technology challenges.
  • Strong organizational and time-management capabilities.
  • Experience in drafting proposals and implementing technical solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Results-driven, self-motivated, professional, reliable, and a collaborative team player.
  • In-depth understanding of technology and business productivity systems.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, customer service orientation, and strong multitasking abilities.
  • Familiarity with RMM tools, such as Kaseya or Connectwise, is advantageous.
  • Experience with PSA solutions, such as Autotask, is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of Cisco, Fortinet, and Sonicwall technologies is beneficial.
  • Prior experience in an MSP environment is a significant advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CompTIA Net+ and/or CompTIA Security+ certifications.
  • MCSA or MCSE certifications.
  • CCNA or CCIE-Cisco certifications are a strong plus.
