Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality interpreting services for students, teachers, and staff during live instruction and school-related events.
  • Facilitate effective communication between students, educators, and peers in an online learning environment.
  • Collaborate with school staff to ensure students' needs are met, including participating in IEP meetings as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching certificate required.
  • Minimum of a 3.5 score on the Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA).
  • Must have passed the EIPA written test.
  • Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL).
