  • Perform daily vehicle pre-trip inspections to ensure safety and compliance with company regulations.
  • Load and unload goods from the truck, ensuring proper stacking and securing of items.
  • Deliver goods to customers in a timely and efficient manner, communicating with customers and supervisors as needed.
  • Collect and process delivery documents, including invoices and receipts.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized delivery area, including disposing of empty pallets and trash.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of six months of driving and warehouse operations experience and at least 25 years of age.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and safe driving record.
  • Ability to quickly learn and become proficient with Austin Hose warehouse and delivery methods, techniques, and procedures.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations and interpret road maps.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers, peers, and supervisors.
  • Attentive to detail and ensure accuracy in work assignments.
  • Ability to safely lift 50lbs or more.
  • Ability to maintain a good working relationship with co-workers, supervisors, management, and various personnel.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test.
